Sure, winter in Manitoba is not for the faint of heart, but for many, Manitoba’s winters are magical, it’s a favourite time to visit. December in Manitoba is full of the magic of Christmas, with festive markets held in many towns and fairy lights illuminating the night skies.
After the New Year, Manitoba’s winter holidays are often focused on winter sports, like hockey, curling, snowmobiling, etc. However, we at Music City Manitoba are going to expand on that to include many different activities that our locals and visitors will easily be able to participate in.
We will be covering things such as Dart Tournaments, A Super Silver Search, A Singsation Competition that will run 312 days, and a Huge Waygo Tournament.
These tournaments feature huge prizes, trips and trophies. These will also include Snowshoeing, Snowkiting, Horse & Buggy Racing & Skiing, and Speedriding, as well as many other winter stuff.
There are plenty of other things to do in Manitoba in winter that are also available for non-skiers, or the sporty types. These include Bombardier and Horse Sleigh Rides, Fishing Tournaments, on the lakes & rivers.
Other winter activities at Music City Manitoba include fondue tasting and of course fabulous festive markets and pastimes.
